SM Bowling North Edsa the first branch, started operations on December 15, 1989. It featured the country's first and only Fully Computerized and Automatic Scoring. The introduction of computerized scoring by SM revolutionized the tenpin bowling in the country.
SM Megamall opened its doors to the public on December 1993 with 46 Fully Automated and Computerized Lanes featuring the first generation of AMF 82-90 pinspotters and Accuscore Plus Scoring with AMF Advantage Bowling Operations Control System. SM Megamall Bowling is the home of the Asian Development Bank Bowling Club, playing every Friday all year-round.
SM Bowling Cebu followed suit two years after, staring operations on September 1995 with 28 Lanes of AMF 82-90XL Pinspotters and Accuscore Plus Scoring with AMF Advantage Lite Control System. SM Bowling Center Cebu was the first and only fully automated Tenpin Bowling in the Queen City of the South.
With a change in business strategy, the 20 lanes expansion was transfered to its new home at SM City Fairview. SM Bowling Fairview started operations on November 2001.
